Job Description
AG Hotels Group is seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Hotel Manager to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving the success of our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and monitor the hotel budget to ensure financial goals are exceeded, driving revenues across all departments.
* Implement strategic objectives to optimize performance and hold the operational team accountable for exceeding property objectives.
* Lead the implementation of a hotel operations strategy aligned with company goals across all departments.
* Stay informed of market trends and introduce new products and initiatives to enhance guest engagement and revenue streams.
* Monitor guest feedback and performance data to optimize guest engagement and retention.
* Encourage innovation and drive necessary change to succeed and further develop.
* Provide growth opportunities for team members to maximize talent.
* Establish and enforce policies to ensure compliance and maintain operational efficiency.
* Foster regular communication within the property and with company support functions.
* Collaborate with HR to ensure staffing levels meet business demands.
* Ensure compliance with licensing, health, and safety laws.
* Implement a focused property maintenance program in collaboration with the central support development team.
* Coach and mentor team members and conduct performance reviews.
* Lead by example and inspire team members to make solid business decisions with honesty and integrity.
Prerequisites:
* Minimum 5 years of hotel operations experience across all departments.
* Commitment to professional growth and excellence.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to perform under pressure.
* Effective leadership skills with a hands-on management approach.
* Passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering top-class customer service.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities and experience with budget and finances.
* Record of delivering exceptional customer service.
* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety regulations.
* Ability to prioritize and balance guest expectations with business priorities.
* Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Familiarity with PMS and other hotel systems preferred.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
