We are working with a well-established global B2B organisation to recruit a Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join their growing team based just outside Burton-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior marketer to gain broad, hands-on experience across digital and offline marketing within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Marketing Manager in delivering the annual marketing plan
* Create and manage content across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
* Produce high-quality, original copywriting for social media and marketing campaigns
* Assist in the development of B2B and consumer-focused marketing campaigns
* Brief designers on marketing materials including brochures, packaging, leaflets and flyers
* Work closely with the sales team to provide marketing support and materials
* Assist with event planning and trade day coordination
* Manage merchandise stock and support general marketing administration
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience in a marketing role (placement, internship or apprenticeship considered)
* Experience managing or contributing to social media platforms (B2B and/or B2C)
* Strong copywriting and content creation skills
* Understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Proactive, organised and willing to learn
Education:
* Degree in Marketing or related field, or a relevant apprenticeship
Additional Requirements:
* Must be able to commute to Burton-on-Trent (limited public transport access)
* Driving licence desirable
