Beacon Lodge
, our mental health step-down unit is designed to help individuals transition from acute mental health wards back into the community. If you are passionate about empowering people, this role will allow you to support individuals in gaining the skills they need to live independently. With a focus on key working, you will manage a small caseload while contributing to the day-to-day operations of our service. Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Night Recovery Worker, you will: Provide
person-centered care
through recovery-focused support, including key working sessions and group activities. Empower individuals by helping them develop new skills and promoting long-term recovery. Devise tailored support and risk management plans, ensuring effective discharge planning. Encourage positive change and independence in the lives of those you support. Please note that this role requires working night shifts as part of our 24-hour service. Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will: Have experience in the mental health sector and a solid understanding of the recovery model. Exhibit a
solution-focused attitude
and a person-centered approach. Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Possess a genuine interest in helping others, along with a deep level of empathy, understanding, and patience. About Us
