A well-established Legal 500 firm covering the London/Surrey area is seeking a Junior Litigation Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) to join its expanding Dispute Resolution team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified or early-career Solicitor looking to develop their skills and experience within a supportive, forward-thinking environment. You will be joining a small, collaborative team where you’ll gain hands-on exposure across a wide range of contentious matters and work directly with senior solicitors.
The Role The successful candidate will assist in managing a varied caseload across:
1. Property litigation, including landlord and tenant matters
2. Debt recovery
3. Non-contentious employment law
4. Contentious probate
5. General commercial disputes
There will also be opportunities to gain experience in corporate and commercial law and statutory lease extensions, working closely with the Head of Department.
Key Responsibilities
6. Manage and assist with a range of litigation and dispute resolution cases.
7. Conduct legal research, prepare court documents, and draft correspondence.
8. Support senior solicitors in case preparation, client meetings, and hearings.
9. Liaise directly with clients, assessing risks, costs, and potential outcomes.
10. Contribute to case strategy and work collaboratively to achieve client goals.
About You
11. Qualified Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE) or equivalent experience in litigation/dispute resolution.
12. Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
13. Proactive and commercially minded, with excellent attention to detail.
14. Confident handling client relationships and working collaboratively as part of a team.
15. Genuine interest in developing a long-term career within dispute resolution.
