We are looking for a Dispatch Specialist in our facility, Ipswich.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations role (manufacturing background preferred)
* Knowledge of transportation/logistics regulations and documentation
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP systems experience is a plus
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Forklift license is a plus, but not mandatory
Job Description
* Plan and manage daily dispatch operations to ensure timely delivery of sandwich panels and related materials
* Coordinate with production and warehouse teams to align dispatch schedules
* Prepare shipping documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and transport records
* Communicate with logistics providers to arrange transportation and track shipments
* Monitor inventory and stock levels to ensure availability for outgoing orders
* Handle customer queries related to delivery timelines or issues
* Ensure all dispatch activities comply with health & safety and regulatory standards
* Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and dispatch operations
