Prime Property Surveyors Ltd is a growing, quality-focused independent surveying practice delivering RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys, Snagging surveys & valuations, and professional advice across the North East. We pride ourselves on thorough inspections, clear reporting, and excellent client service — not volume-driven, tick-box surveying.
We are now looking to appoint a Building Surveyor to join our expanding team.
The Role
You will undertake a varied workload including:
*
RICS Level 2 Home Surveys
*
RICS Level 3 Building Surveys
*
Residential market valuations, including shared ownership and specialist valuations
*
Defect diagnosis and condition reporting
*
Client liaison and clear written reporting
*
Use of modern inspection methods, including drone-assisted inspections (training provided if required)
You’ll be supported by strong admin and management systems, with a focus on quality over quantity.
About You
You will ideally be:
*
AssocRICS, MRICS, or working towards chartership
*
Degree-qualified in Building Surveying (or similar)
*
Experienced in residential surveying and inspections
*
Confident producing clear, professional RICS-compliant reports
*
Organised, detail-oriented, and client-focused
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
SAVA graduates and recently qualified surveyors are encouraged to apply.
