Please Note:
All home/hybrid workers must live in the UK. Supported applications will be subject to a trial period. Employees will attend Council offices for induction and as required. Hybrid workers will be office-based with permission to work from home on an ad hoc basis.
To manage the Council’s PPP project, which expires in 2035, ensuring compliance with the Project Agreement. The project includes 6 secondary schools, a Community Centre, and a Swimming Pool complex.
East Lothian’s population is projected to grow significantly, requiring additional education capacity and facilities. You will manage the schools estate by liaising with Council departments to meet current and future needs.

Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
Educated to degree level in property, finance, or project management, or equivalent experience in PPP contract and schools’ estate management.
Membership of a professional body or related postgraduate qualification is desirable.
Driving Licence
A current driving licence and access to a vehicle are required. Reasonable adjustments will be made for disabilities preventing obtaining a licence.
PVG Membership
This role involves regulated work with vulnerable groups, requiring PVG Scheme membership or update prior to employment.
