Payroll Administrator
Location: Bracknell (Office-based)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
A growing organisation is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and supportive payroll team based in Bracknell. This role has been created due to ongoing expansion and offers a stable opportunity within a people-focused business.
The Role
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will support the delivery of a monthly payroll for approximately 2,500 employees, working as part of a small team and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
Processing starters, leavers, and payroll changes
Updating time & attendance systems and Excel trackers
Calculating sickness pay and statutory payments
Responding to payroll-related queries
Maintaining accurate records for absence and leave
Supporting the team during busy periods and providing cover when required
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and able to work confidently in a payroll environment.
Key requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience
Strong Excel skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
Excellent attention to detail and respect for confidentiality
Able to manage deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Confident communicator with a friendly, professional approach
Flexible team player with the ability to use initiative
