LOCATION: CONCOURSE SHOPPING CENTRE
SHIFT PATTERN: cover sickness and holiday, 10 hours per week
PAY RATE: £12.71 per hour
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Security Officers to join our team in Telford. The ideal candidates will be vigilant, professional, and customer-focused, providing top-class security services and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Patrol assigned premises to prevent and detect unauthorized activities
* Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to identify suspicious behavior
* Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, coordinating with emergency services when necessary
* Enforce site rules and procedures to ensure safety and compliance
* Write accurate and timely incident reports and maintain logs
* Provide excellent customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff
Qualifications
* Valid SIA license mandatory
* Previous experience as a Security Officer or similar role preferred
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
* Strong observational skills with attention to detail
* Physical fitness and stamina to patrol and stand for long periods
* Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
