About The Role
We are now looking for an enthusiastic Events Coordinator on a 2-year fixed term basis to coordinate and support the delivery of Diamond’s extensive Events calendar for both international and national scientific conferences and workshops.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will contribute to the planning and delivery of the event programme taking on a variety of responsibilities, such as:
* Creating and managing web interfaces and registration systems for events and training.
* Preparing costings, monitoring budgets and reporting on spend for conferences and workshops.
* Coordinating the production of literature and other material (badges, posters etc.) related to events and conferences.
About You
You should be educated to A Level standard or equivalent, further qualifications in project management are desirable.
We are looking for someone with experience of event planning and delivery, with experience working in science as well as in an international environment.
Candidates will be capable users of MS Office software, along with knowledge of databases, web content management and budget management. Candidates should also be flexible to host events offsite as required.
Candidates will demonstrate exceptional problem solving, organisation, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines. They will be able to work well independently and within a team and build good relationships with staff at all levels.
