Our client, a well-respected educational institution in Ashington, Northumberland, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the individualised attention and support necessary to thrive in their learning environment. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement personalised learning plans tailored to each student's unique requirements. Your primary responsibility will be to provide one-on-one support and guidance to students, assisting them in overcoming challenges and achieving their full potential. This will involve adapting learning materials, facilitating small group activities, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. To excel in this role, you should possess a genuine passion for working with children and a deep understanding of the diverse needs of students with special educational requirements. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis. Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are key attributes that will contribute to your success in this position. Our client offers a competitive salary range of £96.24 to £104.26 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
