About the Company
Priory Hospital Bristol is looking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist/Medical Director for the Private Addictions Ward. This is a part-time role of 30 hours that can be over three or four days. Bristol is an ideal place for treating people with complex disorders, including people who may not have responded to previous treatment. We can guarantee that our comprehensive treatment programmes are guided by current evidence-based research.
About the Role
As a Consultant Psychiatrist Private Addictions/Medical Director, you will be accountable for, but not exclusively limited to, the following areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities
1. Lead the recruitment, induction, and probation of doctors in line with company policies, ensuring compliance with training requirements, specialist registration, and practising privileges for visiting consultants.
2. Oversee medical staff appraisals, revalidation processes, and performance management, taking decisive action on any behavioural or clinical concerns in collaboration with the Hospital Director and HR.
