I’m supporting my client who operate in the reinsurance space to find them a Senior Company Secretarial/governance professional to head up both the UK and global group.
This role is a replacement but they are looking for a more senior person now to ultimately head up the department.
This will report to the General Counsel who sits on the main board and will support all boards and committees.
They are across a number of jurisdictions and will potentially be making a move in to the US in the near future.
There will be a mix of secretarial/board support work and project focused governance/strategic work. They need someone who is happy doing both areas.
As with all roles at this level they need someone who can manage all the senior stakeholders and deal with any issues that arise.
The ideal candidate would have an insurance/reinsurance background but wider financial services would still be considered if combined with the requisite experience and soft skills.
