Salary Scale: £22,500 - £28,500 Salary depending on Experience

GSL Education are currently recruiting a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our client Primary school in Reddish, Stockport. If you are passionate about working with young students with Special Educational Needs, consider becoming part of our welcoming and supportive school.
Higher Level Teaching Assistant Role:
* Supervise classes and support students on a 1:1 or small group basis.
* Assist in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment by implementing behaviour management strategies.
* Assessing and tracking student progress, providing feedback to both KS1-KS2 students and teachers.
* Work closely with teachers, other teaching assistants, and educational professionals to ensure a coordinated and effective learning environment.
* Engage in continuous professional development to enhance their skills and knowledge in education.
The successful candidate will:
* Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Must have a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
* Right to work in the UK.
* An Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce) on the update service or willing to apply for a new one through GSL Education.
* A strong understanding of the Secondary school curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
