Sustainability Consultant (BREEAM Qualified)

A dynamic and forward-thinking building services consultancy is looking for an experienced BREEAM Assessor to strengthen its expanding Sustainability and Environmental Design team. The company works across a variety of commercial, residential and mixed-use developments, delivering integrated solutions in energy, sustainability and MEP design.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and delivering BREEAM assessments from concept to completion, while also contributing to wider sustainability services including CEEQUAL, HQM, WELL and Fitwel certification. The role also involves Net Zero carbon strategy, Life Cycle and Embodied Carbon assessments, and Post-Occupancy Evaluations to help clients achieve their environmental goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver BREEAM and other sustainability assessments across multiple sectors
Produce detailed sustainability and energy reports to support planning and design decisions
Collaborate with clients, architects and design teams to provide expert environmental guidance
Manage project workload effectively while mentoring and supporting junior team members
Key Skills & Qualifications
Licensed BREEAM Assessor with relevant professional memberships
Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Building Services or related field
Confident communicator with strong organisation and time management skills
Team-focused with a proactive approach to problem solving and innovation
Working knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as BREEAM, WELL, LEED, CEEQUAL or HQM
Passion for sustainable design and awareness of emerging environmental technologies
Full UK driving licence
