The role at Croft
We provide comprehensive pet care services and are seeking a bright and bubbly Veterinary Receptionist to expand our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your responsibilities include greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general information about our services, such as our Health Care Plan. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, offering support and compassion.
Duties
1. Greeting clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Scheduling appointments and managing the appointment calendar, including future bookings.
3. Answering phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from clients.
4. Collecting and updating client information in the database.
5. Handling medication administration, including scanning and organizing paperwork.
6. Processing payments and managing debts.
7. Maintaining cleanliness.
About you
We are looking for a dedicated, professional team member who demonstrates passion and a positive attitude in every duty. Candidates should have at least 1 year of reception experience, preferably within the veterinary industry, due to the fast-paced nature of the role. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated with excellent customer service skills.
Requirements
1. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
3. A passion for working with animals and their owners.
4. Ability to work well within a team and independently.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
7. Knowledge of basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Rota
The role involves working up to 30 hours per week, including Saturdays. There may be opportunities for additional hours to cover holidays and sickness. This is a permanent position.
