Following significant growth, a leading manufacturing group has a new vacancy for a Paralegal to join the business. You will provide legal and compliance support, prepare legal documentation & paperwork and you will be highly organised, methodical with a strong attention to detail.
The Role:
The preparation of legal documents, contracts and correspondence.
Contract administration e.g. preparing contracts for execution, and completion activities such as scanning, filing and updating the contracts database.
Liaising with external counsel and Company advisors when required.
Managing ongoing compliance requirements, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Company secretarial support including processing share transfers, shareholder enquiries and making corporate filings at Companies House.
Assisting with biannual dividend payments.
Assistance with draft Board and Management agendas/minutes and AGM.
Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Assist in export control compliance.
The Person:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Paralegal or Legal Administrator.
Legal or related qualifications desirable but not essential.
Excellent relationship management skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
A proactive and professional approach with a willingness to learn.
