Job location: UNSW Canberra, ADFA Campus, Australia.
Employment type: Full-time, 35 hours per week.
Duration: Continuing.
Remuneration: Level B from $127,947 plus leave loading and 17% super.
Role Overview
Lecturer, Physics reporting to the Head of School, with no direct reports.
Responsibilities
As a lecturer in the Education Focused (EF) specialism, you will specialise in education and devote your time to delivering high‑quality teaching and pursuing initiatives to enhance the educational experience of our students.
Qualifications
* A PhD in physics, and/or relevant work experience.
* Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development.
* Demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
* Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and delivering via lifelong learning methods.
* Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence (e.g., relevant discipline‑based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales).
* High level communication skills and ability to network effectively and interact with a diverse range of students and staff.
* Evidence of ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
