Ad Hoc Class 2 Drivers Wanted
Job Type: Ad Hoc / Part Time / Temporary
PAY: 14.03 + Holiday Pay, £15.72 (Ad hoc rate only)
Job Description: We are looking for flexible and reliable Class 2 Drivers to support our clients on an ad hoc basis based in Preston As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate Class 2 vehicles for the delivery and collection of goods.
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
* Accurately complete all required paperwork and logbooks.
* Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies.
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers as required.
* Ensure goods are delivered in excellent condition and on time.
* Adapt to different routes, loads, and schedules as needed.
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 driving license.
* Minimum of 1 years of driving experience with no more than 6 points.
* Up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) and Digital Tachograph card.
* Strong knowledge of UK road networks and regulations.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations on the road.
