The aim of the job is to supervise and support the development of the Personal Assistants role and to ensure that the employer's child's needs, as per the written Care Plan, are appropriately met. The Personal Assistants are employed to help the employer's child, who has severe learning disability, epilepsy, autism, HNRNPU and associated complex needs, live her life with as much independence as possible; getting the right assistance when she needs it will allow her to do this. After a period of familiarisation with the duties, carrying out the tasks described below effectively some aspects of the post may be carried out unsupervised.
Responsibilities
* Interview potential PAs
* Organise internal Induction for PAs
* Organise External Training for PAs
* Conduct regular 8 week Supervision for PAs
* 3/6 month and annual Appraisals for PAs
* Issue and maintain employment contracts
* Manage rotas
* Organise PAs Holiday
* Keep annual leave records
* Order Medication, PPE, medical supplies etc
* Produce shift monitoring paperwork
* Submit timesheets and liaise with Compass payroll
* Maintain the Motability car and associated tasks
* Be available to attend medical appointments and meetings any time Monday to Friday
* Be available to organise/cover shifts when staff become unavailable due to sickness etc
* Be available to deal with problems/emergencies as they arise
* Any other reasonable task

The family also have a dog but is not always at the property. You must be able to prove the right to work in the UK. No sponsorships are available.

Hours: 39 hours per week (15 hours admin) Monday: 10am - 3pm = 5 hours admin and 3pm - 8.30pm = 5.5 hours support Tuesday: 8.30am - 11.00pm + sleep - 14.5 hours support Wednesday: 6.00am - 10am - 4 hours support and 10 - 3 = 5 hours admin Friday: 10am - 3.00pm - 5 hours admin
Pay: £15.50 per hour x 15 hours, £14.50 per hour x 24 hours, £120 per sleep (11pm - 6am)
