Contract Type: Fixed Term for 12 months

Working Hours: 37 hours

Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is £26,824 (Level one) rising to £27,694 per annum

Location: Tamar Building, Eastcroft Depot, London Road, Nottingham, NG2 3AH

About The Role

As a Licensing Support Officer you will be working as part of a team to provide clerical and administrative support to the licensing service to a high standard and in line with legal requirements, in particular:

* Answering licensing enquiries and advising on requirements of various licenses and registrations
* Liaising with Council officers and outside agencies to progress applications
* Producing forms, documents and correspondence on databases and using Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
* Maintenance of records and files
* Taking card payments


About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Worked with customers in a regulatory environment to promote legal requirements and good practice
* Ability to plan and manage a reactive workload to meet legislative and corporate deadlines
* Experience using information technology in the workplace
* This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.
