Location: Tongue Grocery Store & Post OfficeHours: The Store is open 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, six days a week. Part-time contracts (permanent and casual)available with flexible shifts (mornings, afternoons, or 2–3 days per week).Salary and Benefits: Highly Competitive Salary and Benefits
The Role
The Tongue Grocery Store is a hub within the local community and serves not just to provide essential produce but is a place where people can chat and connect with others, thereby providing a vital service to the area.
Key Duties
* Be a positive Team Player and represent WildLand Values at all times.
* Comply with all Health & Safety Policies & Procedures.
* Be a friendly and welcoming first point of contact for anyone coming into the Store
* Help customers to find and pack items
* Ensure tills are accurately used and float is monitored
* Ensure shelves are well stocked and restocked, monitoring sell-buy dates and replacing produce
* Open and close the Storeas required ensuring that all security measures are in place
* Support the re-opening of the Post Office (training provided)
* Provide local information and directions to anyone in need
* Be a supportive team member to colleagues
* Be available to work pre-opening and post-closing hours (8-9am and 5-6pm)

* Reliable and punctual, ensuring consistency in your role
* Open to learning; prior retail experience is a bonus, but full training will be provided
