Primary SEN Teacher - New Special School for Autistic Pupils (Reception to Year 6)
Aspire People is proud to be partnering with a brand-new special school catering to autistic pupils from Reception to Year 6, all of whom have additional learning needs. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher (PGCE + QTS) to shape a supportive and inclusive learning environment from the ground up.
Responsibilities
* Lead a class of pupils, maintaining high expectations and inclusive practice for all learners
* Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
* Collaborate with families, colleagues, external agencies, and the wider school community
* Uphold Teachers' Standards and ensure all pupils have equal opportunities to succeed
* Support the safeguarding and wellbeing of every child
* Subject leadership responsibilities may be included
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE
* Passion for improving outcomes for autistic children
* Creative, energetic, and innovative approach to teaching
* Experience in working with autistic pupils and those with complex additional learning needs
* Collaborative, with strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
* Willing to go above and beyond to make a real difference
