What You’ll Do:
Are you a motivated and forward-thinking Production Manager or an experienced Production Coordinator who is looking for an exciting new permanent opportunity to work onsite and travel around the world?
IMG is a global leader in sports production with some of the world’s biggest federations and broadcasters in our portfolio. European Tour Productions who sit within the IMG Media group is looking for a talented Production Manager to join their team and manage the production of multiple worldwide live Outside Broadcast events, both onsite and remotely from our facility in Stockley Park.
European Tour Productions produce and distribute golf coverage of the DP World Tour, The Challenge Tour, The Ryder Cup and The Open for the R&A. In this capacity, ETP has produced the live coverage for hundreds of events around the world and not just in Europe. We travel to events in the Middle East, Asia and Africa and have produced the last twelve Ryder Cups and The Open Championship since 2016. Our award winning original and branded content is expanding, and we also produce a broad range of content for social media channels and The European Tour website.
We are always looking to enhance our production management team with enthusiastic people. An inquisitive nature and the desire to develop your skillsets is essential. It is important to know that you don’t need to play or have knowledge of golf to work with us. A passion for the job and a willingness to learn from our own experienced and talented people is key.
This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in our team. We would like someone with a good understanding of live production and who ideally knows their way around an Outside Broadcast. Managing budgets and cost reports is an essential part of the role as well as liaising with talent, crew and third party suppliers to ensure smooth delivery of all programming. Health and Safety is vitally important as is having excellent organisational abilities, negotiation, and communication skills.

PLEASE NOTE: This role will require some evening and weekend work, and international travel. You will be mainly based at our lovely Studios in Stockley Park, Uxbridge (near Heathrow airport) with hybrid working also available.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
1. Managing arrangements around national/international golf productions on the European Tour.
2. Budget preparation, finance reporting and reconciliation of each production.
3. Co-ordinating with suppliers on crew and equipment arrangements based on spec provided.
4. Managing all travel and logistics associated with the event.
5. Hiring of freelance staff and contractors, negotiating deals.
6. Preparing call sheets and overseeing the production of risk assessments.
7. Line management.
8. Ensure best Health & Safety practices are carried out on site as well as any Covid-19 safety protocols including restrictions on entry and exit requirements to international destinations.
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
9. Experience of dealing with broadcasters, stakeholders and a range of personnel.
10. Previous experience in a similar role within television production.
11. Ability to produce a production budget.
12. Some knowledge of responsibilities in relation to rights and clearances, production work flows, insurance and health and safety.
13. Experience managing junior members of the admin team.
14. An understanding of UK TV industry.
15. Health & Safety Production Training.
