Overview
The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services. This position involves overseeing daily food and beverage operations, managing staff, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate daily food and beverage operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
* Train, mentor, and manage team members to maintain high standards of service.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
* Assist in menu planning and food production to meet guest expectations.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain stock.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment in both front-of-house and back-of-house areas.
Skills
* Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and culinary arts.
* Strong supervising experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
* Previous restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent team management skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
* Experience in kitchen operations, including barista skills, is an advantage.
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and enhance team performance.
