Principle Planning Officer London Borough - £175 per day (inside IR35)
Were working with a London Borough who are looking to appoint a Principle Planning Office as follows:
1. Minimum of degree qualified, ideally with a planning related professional qualification
2. Hybrid working (home, office and site based)
3. Focused on the negotiation, assessment and determination of major and complex planning applications delivering significant levels of investment within the Borough
4. Supervision of Case Officers on specific, complex proposals
5. The processing and representation of the Councils case in respect of planning appeals
6. Providing specialist, professional planning advice in response to enquiries
7. The monitoring and improvement of performance in the handling of planning and related applications handled by the planning team.
8. Deputise for the Area Team Leader
9. Determination of appropriate planning applications under the Councils Scheme of Delegation
