A broad but flexible role in marketing for a small charity who support the mental health of parents
What difference will you make?
Through various platforms of marketing and outreach, you will help us not only to reach more local parents but also to give Holding Space the chance to spread the word to potential funders and corporate sponsors who can help keep our services going. Bursaries and funding applications are almost non-existent, so we are now totally reliant on our local community and fundraising to continue running.

What will you be doing?
Help a small charity in the mental health sector to continue supporting parents and carers with children who are facing mental health challenges. We're looking for someone passionate about mental health, particularly for parents and carers, who can manage our social media, website, email marketing, and outreach. This would be at both a creative and a strategic level. It's a big ask, and we totally understand. Our goal is to have multiple volunteers working on our marketing. But right now, we have three volunteers in total. Two of our team are Parent Peer Support workers - giving support on the phone and running coffee morning groups for parents. One is a behind-the-scenes volunteer supporting on a bit of everything when possible, e.g. website, social media, fundraising. We are in real need of more support - in any way. We appreciate there will be a lot to do, but we will always work with you flexibly. Any time and support you can give is a huge help, even if it's only social media content, or only email content - it will all help. If you are happy to help with all aspects of our marketing, that is fantastic news too Although we're asking for someone who can cover a broad spectrum of tasks, please note it would be temporary while we seek additional volunteers to help with the workload.
