This organisation delivers specialist consultancy services across a range of projects nationwide and offers a collaborative, supportive working environment.
Your new roleAs Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Directors and overseeing core business functions. This is a varied, hands‑on position suited to someone who enjoys being the central point of coordination within a busy office.
Your responsibilities will include:Director & Administrative Support
Diary management and ad‑hoc administrative support for Directors
Coordinating internal communication and assisting with documentationInvoicing & Finance Administration
Preparing monthly draft invoices and raising final invoices
Issuing statements, managing purchase orders, and liaising with accounts
Chasing outstanding payments and handling invoice queries
Maintaining accurate financial registers and spreadsheetsProjects & Document Management
Setting up new projects and maintaining project folders
Archiving completed project documentation
Supporting Project Managers with document formatting and PDF preparationPeople Administration
Maintaining up‑to‑date staff records including salaries, bonuses and training
Coordinating with payroll providers regarding starters, leavers, tax details and updates
Managing expenses, mobile contracts, and holiday recordsQuality Assurance & Compliance
Maintaining key accreditations and supporting annual ISO audits
Updating policies, procedures, and online compliance portalsGeneral Office Management
Managing stationery, PPE, meeting room bookings and office supplies
Coordinating shredding, archiving and general office up keep
Supporting business development activities, including Christmas events and team functionsWhat you'll need to succeed
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and work independently
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
A proactive, team‑orientated approach
Experience in an Office Manager, Senior Administrator or similar post
Confidence handling confidential information and business‑critical tasksWhat you'll get in return
Competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 depending on experience
