The basics: Job title: CNC Turner Role: Permanent Industry: Manufacturing - Precision Engineering/Machining Location: Tewkesbury Shift: Twilight - Monday-Thursday (4.30pm to 2.45am) Pay: Up to £50,000 DOE inc. shift allowance + OT available = earnings of £52,000 and upwards achievable Overview: Working in modern, purpose built (clean and warm) manufacturing facilities we now require a CNC Turner to join the team. The CNC Turner will be responsible for setting and operating multi-axis CNC machines with Mazatrol and Fanuc controls. Key responsibilities of the CNC Turner role: Machine precision engineered components using Mazatrol or Fanuc controlsThe ideal candidate / CNC Turner may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time served, apprentice trained Previous experience in setting and operating CNC Lathes / CNC Turning Experience using multi spindle or sliding head machine tools Any programming online at the machine beneficial - editing online Previous experience machining metal precision engineered componentsCommutable from: Bishops Cleeve, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Evehsam, Gloucester and surrounding areas.
