Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to children living in a residential setting, ensuring their well-being and assisting in their development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day care and support to children in a residential environment.
* Create a safe and nurturing environment where children feel valued and cared for.
* Assist children with daily activities, including personal care, education, and recreational pursuits.
* Support children in developing social skills and emotional resilience.
* Implement and follow individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs.
* Monitor and record children's progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to senior staff.
* Engage in play and recreational activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
* Work collaboratively with a team of professionals, including social workers, therapists, and educators.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities regularly.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safeguarding protocols to protect children.
Essential Qualifications:
