Our UK&I Water business is looking for 2 Client Account Managers (CAMs) to support growth. One CAM will support Anglian Water & Severn Trent; the other will support Wessex and South West Water. A CAM is a pivotal role responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships, aligning services with client priorities, and helping shape how clients come to market. You will manage client accounts and opportunities with significant growth potential, whether due to scale, complexity, or innovation.
The AECOM Water team has a strong market presence across the UK & Ireland with long-term client relationships and workload with multiple water sector clients and contractors. There are major opportunities coming to market in the coming years where a senior CAM will help build client relationships and brand ahead of procurement.
Responsibilities
* Trusted Partner: Develop deep understanding of the client, regulatory environment, and future direction; broaden and develop relationships across the client organisation.
* Expertise: Bring AECOM offerings to clients; maintain understanding of technical and business service offerings, and adapt as needed to meet future requirements.
* Growth: Lead end-to-end delivery of pursuits, including positioning, win planning, bid delivery, and handover to delivery teams for implementation.
* Collaborate: Coordinate with internal teams to assess resources and assemble delivery teams to maximise chances of winning work.
Qualifications and Required Expertise
* Developing, maintaining, and implementing an account strategy aimed at positioning for future work, including partnering strategies and relationships.
* Developing and implementing a sales strategy that complies with internal processes to win significant new work.
* Leading end-to-end delivery of a major pursuit, including positioning, procurement leadership, budgeting, proposal development, pricing strategy, and terms negotiation.
* Preparing and conducting regular account reviews with business leaders to promote transparency and alignment on goals and performance.
* Staying up to date on industry developments to provide relevant insights to wider teams.
* Experience in the water sector or another relevant sector; experience in client account management and business development; ability to drive growth through effective client management and service delivery.
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong proposal development and presentation skills; ability to analyse performance metrics and implement improvements.
