Behaviour Mentor / Mental Health & Support Worker
This role focuses on supporting pupils' behaviour, wellbeing, and emotional regulation across primary phases in Bolton and Bury, working through Tradewind Recruitment.
Core responsibilities:
Work 1:1 and in small groups to support behaviour regulation
Develop and deliver social-emotional learning interventions
Use restorative approaches to improve behaviour and relationships
Liaise with staff and families to ensure consistent support
Maintain records and contribute to pastoral meetings
Support transitions and reduce barriers to learning
Ideal candidate:
Experience or qualifications in behaviour support, mental health, youth work or similar
Understanding of trauma-informed practice and child development
Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
Calm, reflective, and proactive approach
Clear commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
