Randstad is actively seeking a dedicated Early Years professional who is committed to giving children a solid start in education. This would be a 4 day per week role from 8am to 6pm, spanning 40 hours per week.
This nursery setting in LS11 is devoted to providing exceptional education. You can expect access to facilities tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. We are looking for someone who is proactive and can implement the EYFS into children's activities and routines. You will be part of a team who will create age-appropriate activities using a variety of resources. In order to be a fitting candidate for this role you will need to hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent.

The Responsibilities:
8. Devise engaging and age-appropriate activities to support the specific developmental needs of key children
9. Document children's progress through thorough observations
10. Assist with children's hygiene routines and mealtime support
11. Contribute to maintaining a safe and enjoyable learning environment
12. Uphold safeguarding protocols
13. Maintain accurate records of children's daily activities and progression
The Requirements:
14. Possession of an enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one through Randstad
15. Previous experience working with infants and children aged 0-5 is essential
16. NVQ Level 3 or higher qualification, or equivalent
17. Exceptional communication skills
18. Demonstrated strong work ethic and professional demeanour
19. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
20. Eligibility to work in the UK
21. Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Desired (but not essential):
22. Additional training in safeguarding, paediatric first aid, food hygiene, and health and safety
23. Experience leading colleagues as a room leader
