The role is based in either our Liverpool or Birmingham office and is offered in line with our Hybrid Working Policy. The firm supports and encourages flexible working arrangements.
Responsibilities
* Manage a caseload of employment work – predominately complex discrimination and whistleblowing employment tribunal claims
* Provide strategic employment law advice
* Management of client relationships with key stakeholders
* Recording and reporting client management information and trends
* Conduct advocacy in preliminary hearings
* Work in accordance with client and internal SLAs
* Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values
NB: This role is subject to completion of additional security vetting measures.
About You
You will have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work. We also require you to have/be:
* +3 years post qualification experience in employment law
* Technically strong and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Methodical, organised approach
* Employment tribunal advocacy experience is preferable
