Morson are looking to recruit Marine Joiners with outfit experience on behalf of our client in Glasgow shipyard. These are 12 month contracts with the likelihood of extension
Location: Govan and Scotstoun
Salary:
Local contractors
Standard: PAYE: £20.10 UMBRELLA: £26.89
Nightshift/ Weekend: PAYE: £26.73, UMBRELLA: £35.67
Travelling contractors
Standard: PAYE: £28.10, UMBRELLA: £37.75
Nightshift/Weekend: PAYE: £34.73, UMBRELLA: £46.52
Shifts: Shifts may apply. These include Dayshift, Nightshift and Weekend working.
Requirements: Candidates must be time served and able to provide Apprenticeship papers on application
What you'll be doing:
• Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture
• Working to engineering standards, striving for quality first time
• Using a range of hand tools
• Hand skills required for manufacturing and installation purposes
• Understanding of manufacturing and installation drawing
Your skills and experiences:
• Time Served (able to provide Apprenticeship Papers)
• Understanding of HVAC Installation & Manufacture.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, instructions and procedures.
• Understanding of SHE Risks Assessments, PUWER and COSHH.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height
