Personal Assistant For a Busy Professional in Christchurch
Looking for a part-time/ad hoc PA/secretary position on a temporary or permanent basis - either remotely or on-site in the Christchurch/Bournemouth area. If you wish to outsource any administrative tasks, so you could focus on what's really important, I am here for you.
I would be happy to work in your own home as a good all-rounder assistant who could also help you with organising your life and with the upkeep of your house.
I am a fully qualified (EFL/ESL) English language teacher with years of teaching experience: both in working for language schools and in private tutoring. I have not done any teaching work for a while and I'm currently toying with the idea of starting online tutoring some time in the future. Not quite sure. I gained my administrative experience in the property industry.
I've spent the last 11 years working for a writer/editor in finance as his PA/secretary. We used to publish a magazine and I helped with typing, researching, sorting, filing, proofreading, copy-editing and various other tasks. I still do some work for him on an ad hoc basis, but I could still do with some extra hours.
A few years ago I also worked for another aspiring writer to help with self-publishing his first novel. Unfortunately it was temporary and he never actually got around to publishing it for personal reasons. However, I really enjoyed typing up the manuscript, proofreading, brainstorming new ideas and helping the editing process.
Naturally I would love to find something similar, but I'm interested in any work that is suitable for my skills. My rate is open for negotiation.
