Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering business in their search for a Mechanical Fitter to work in FlintJob Details:Pay: £18.00 per hourHours of Work: Mon - Fri 08:00 - 16:30Duration: Temporary (Ongoing)Benefits: Opportunity for ongoing work with an established engineering contractorJob Role: The Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for carrying out installation and fitting duties on-site, including the installation of pipework using flanged connections, bolts, and gaskets. The Mechanical Fitter will also install bracketry, Unistrut systems, and simple steelwork brackets using various bolting methods. Working from layout drawings, the Mechanical Fitter will ensure equipment is set accurately to centre lines while using a range of specialist tools and equipment.Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Fitting or equivalentPrevious experience as a Mechanical FitterExperience with pipefitting using flanges, bolts, and gasketsGood knowledge of mag drills, SDS drills, lasers, and hand toolsAbility to read and work from simple layout drawingsBasic welding knowledge for simple bracket fabricationAdditional InformationTemporary ongoing opportunitySite-based engineering installation workBasic fabrication and bracket installation duties included within the roleCommutable From: Wrexham, Flint, Deeside, Chester, Ellesmere PortSimilar Job Titles: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, Pipefitter, Mechanical Installer, Site FitterFor further information about this and other positions please apply now.
