HGV Class 2 Driver – Dustcart / Refuse Driver – Stevenage
Got People are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver to join our client's team based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire.
This position involves operating a Class 2 dustcart vehicle on scheduled refuse collection routes and providing support to loaders when necessary. It is an excellent opportunity for a skilled HGV Class 2 driver looking to progress their career.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate a HGV Class 2 dustcart / refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently
* Complete planned waste and recycling collection routes accurately
* Assist loaders as required to ensure smooth operations
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations throughout the workday
Driver Requirements
* Minimum of 12 months recent HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
* Experience in dustcart or refuse collection is highly desirable
* Full UK Driving Licence (Category C)
* Valid Driver CPC qualification
* Possession of a Digital Tachograph Card
* No more than six penalty points on licence (excluding DR or IN endorsements)
* Willingness and ability to assist with loading duties when required
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to high standards

Pay & Details
* Monday to Friday: £18.00 per hour (PAYE / Umbrella)
* Additional Saturday uplift opportunities available
* Start time: 06:00 AM
* Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire
* Additional weekend work offered during bank holiday catch-up rounds
