The Opportunity
A leading national law practice is seeking a highly experienced employment solicitor to join its Employment, Pensions & Immigration (EPI) team to work primarily with health care sector clients. This senior position offers the chance to lead complex employment law, manage high-value client relationships, and play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers.
This role offers the chance to advise a portfolio of high-profile organisations across the UK, including some of the country’s largest and most respected employers. The calibre of clients and the strength of long-standing relationships reflect the exceptional quality of service delivered by the team.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage a broad range of employment matters, including unfair dismissal, grievances, discrimination, industrial relations, tribunal litigation, and equal pay. Responsibilities will include:
* Providing strategic legal advice to clients on contentious and non-contentious employment issues.
* Leading and supervising junior fee-earners.
* Preparing tribunal bundles, witness statements, and other legal documents.
* Delivering training, writing thought-leadership content, and contributing to business development.
* Meeting client service levels, managing reporting requirements, and ensuring compliance with deadlines.
The Candidate
* Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years’ post-qualification experience in employment law.
* Strong technical expertise and exceptional attention to detail.
* Proven leadership, communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Advocacy experience and tribunal litigation skills are highly desirable.
* Sector-specific experience in healthcare is advantageous but not essential.
The Benefits
* Flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
* 28 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays.
* Private healthcare cover, pension scheme with employer contribution, and life insurance.
* Income protection, travel loan, cycle-to-work scheme, and technology purchase plan.
* Gym and dental discounts, employee assistance programme, and peer-recognition awards.
