We're recruiting for a Lecturer - English to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
The salary scale for this role is £25,494 - £44,526 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.
The Role
You'll provide inspiration, skill, and practical experience to students across our department's courses. You'll also contribute to the development of our course offerings, building on our innovative provision.
Key responsibilities of our Lecturer - English
* Plan and develop lessons, including schemes of work
* Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, focusing on constructive and developmental feedback for students
* Encourage, monitor, and report on attendance, progress, and achievements of students
* Ensure safe working environments, enforce health and safety standards, and ensure all students understand and comply
* Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsibilities to support students' development and future progression
* Stay updated on industry developments to ensure the relevance and employability of students
* Participate in continuing professional development within the education sector
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
* Hold a teaching qualification and have experience in the Further or Higher Education sectors
OR
* Have a level 3 qualification in the relevant subject and be willing to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification through our Passport to Teaching programme
