Senior Architectural Technologist / Technical Architect – North Yorkshire
Sterling Arrow are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established architectural practice in North Yorkshire who are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist / Technical Architect to join their growing team.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional to work across a wide range of projects, with particular focus on education, residential, and industrial sectors. You’ll be involved in producing detailed technical drawings, ensuring all designs meet building regulations, the Building Safety Act, and other compliance standards.
The role also includes client and contractor coordination, acting as Principal Designer and Lead Designer on projects, and supporting the development of junior team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree or equivalent qualification relevant to architectural technology or architecture.
* Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other design software.
* Experience in the Building Safety Act Principal Designer role and in leading multi-disciplinary design teams.
* A solid understanding of building and planning regulations.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
* A proactive, team-focused approach with determination to drive projects forward.
* A full UK driving license (preferred).
