Job Purpose:
Responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of set retail accounts and the development of profitable sustainable growth in line with the Flamingo Produce strategy. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer’s business and to develop strong relationships with the buying team; to create category plans that dovetail with needs and deliver revenue and margin targets
Principle Accountabilities
1. To provide support to commercial controller on day-to-day activities and administration
2. Oversee the design and implementation of key account strategies and ensure that category tactics are deployed in line with FLUK business objectives and the objectives of the customer
3. Play a leading role where required in account development, sales presentations and commercial negotiations
4. Plan strategically for further growth, anticipating market trends, customer requirements and new sales opportunities
Experience, Knowledge, Qualifications
5. Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
6. Determined, enthusiastic with strong influencing and organisational skills
7. Confident communicator
8. Knowledge of the retail market and trends including competitors and product ranges
9. Ability to monitor market trends and identify potential business opportunities
10. Lateral and creative thinker who takes an analytical approach
