We are currently partnering with a Market Leading Lloyd’s Insurer to recruit a Credit Control Technician. The successful candidate will support the Syndicate and the Partnerships MGA platforms by undertaking credit control activities, assisting with premium collection and reconciliation, minimising bad debt, and maximising cash flow.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Support Syndicate and the Partnerships MGA platforms by undertaking credit control activities and working with relevant teams to resolve issues and develop solutions.
* Assist with the collection and reconciliation of premiums, minimising bad debt and maximising cash flow.
* Liaise with brokers to chase overdue premiums and remittances.
* Work collaboratively within the Operations function and with the wider business to identify and address challenges and risks.
* Undertake credit control processes and procedures, supporting underwriting teams in managing outstanding premiums.
* Assist with the reconciliation of MGA bank accounts, including allocation of premium receipts and resolution of cash-related queries.
* Produce and report relevant management information (MI) to meet internal and external requirements.
* Maintain MGA ledger transactions and assist with month-end close procedures as required.
The ideal candidate should have:
* Credit control experience within the London Insurance Market.
* Good analytical, mathematical, and organisational skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
