Your new role
As Credit Controller, you will report to the Credit Control Manager working within a dedicated finance team. Your duties will include:
1. Monitor and control the release of customer orders in relation to their agreed Credit Terms
2. Control and analysis of customer accounts in relation to collections or payment type processing, Direct Debit, Cash, Cheque, Pay point etc.
3. Processing of month-end procedures, statements, reports
4. Assist in the processing of bad debt collection, small claims, insurance, letters etc.
5. Liaising with Sales Managers to ensure accounts are managed correctly
6. Handling daily administration queries on existing customer accounts
7. Daily day-to-day maintenance on new and existing accounts
8. Cash processing, reconciliation and lodgements admin if necessary
9. Summary Invoice processing
10. Insurance Indemnity maintenance
What you'll need to succeed
Previous Credit Control experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
Ambitious attitude and excellentmunication skills
An understanding and appreciation of the importance of prioritising workload
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
