About the School This welcoming and supportive provision caters for pupils aged 4–11 years with a range of special educational needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) The school prides itself on its nurturing environment, small class sizes, and strong staff collaboration—ensuring every child is supported to achieve their full potential both academically and personally. ✏️ The Role As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will deliver creative, tailored lessons that meet the diverse needs of your pupils while fostering a safe, engaging learning environment. ✅ Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver differentiated lessons aligned with individual learning needs Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports behaviour and engagement Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing alongside their academic development What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (essential) Experience working with primary-aged pupils, ideally within an SEN setting Understanding of ASC, SEMH, or communication needs A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach Strong classroom management and communication skills A genuine passion for inclusive education Why Join Through Teaching Personnel?
