Our established one year programme offers successful applicants the chance to be part of an innovative public sector organisation, experience responsibility and a variety of work activities all whilst while working towards an industry recognised qualification.\n\nWe welcome applications from 16 â 24-year-olds, or up to 29 if you identify as disabled or care- experienced.\n\nYoung Talent at Qualifications Scotland\n\nThis opportunity is being delivered as part of our Young Talent Strategy to attract, recruit, develop and retain young talent and will enable you to:\n\nDevelop your transferable skills by playing a key role in your team with meaningful work activity and responsibilities.\nWork with a Career Development Mentor to learn about the world of work and your career ambitions.\nBe part of a Young Talent Network helping to influence and shape decisions across the organisation.\n \nBenefits\n\n27 days annual leave plus 14 public holidays.\n21 hours volunteering leave to engage and support community social responsibility.\nOffice based in Glasgow city centre with opportunity for hybrid working.\nShadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with experienced and accomplished professionals.\n The Contract Operations team is based in the Corporate Strategy & Business Development (CSBD) directorate, where apprentices will work alongside specialist teams delivering assessment services on behalf of a range of UK Government bodies and other commercial clients.\n\nYou will join a large business area in CSBD that delivers a range of assessment and qualification services for commercial clients. The role may include customer service, data handling and processing, contributing toward documentation to support risk and business continuity needs, as well as identifying opportunities for improvement. You will gain hands-on, practical experience in a dynamic public-sector organisation over your yearâs placement to expand and develop your skills. \n\nProvide administrative support, ensuring activities are carried out accurately, according to plan and ensure compliance with documented processes\nProvide a high level of customer service in respect to queries, ensuring responses are issued promptly, accurately while maintaining key stakeholder relationships\nAssist with the planning and co-ordination of diaries and filing of information \nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and recommending improvements to administrative procedures and systems \nMaintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information, ensuring information is up to date, stored securely and readily accessible Entry criteria\n\nThere are no entry criteria for this role.\n\nPlease note: As part of the recruitment process the successful applicant will be subject to pre-employment checks.
