Core Responsibilities: As a secured loan Underwriter, you'll play a key role in the manual underwriting of loan applications, ensuring they align with our mission and meet clients' unique needs. Key Responsibilities: * Manual underwriting from application to authorization. * Efficiently process loan applications, ensuring compliance. * Authorization of loans within specified limits. * Thorough risk assessment based on financial stability. * Effective communication with clients, brokers, and stakeholders. Qualifications and Skills: * ·Minimum 12 months experience assessing or processing loan applications - ideally in second charge lending or motor finance. * Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. * Knowledge of financial regulations and lending practices. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Work Arrangement: Hybrid available after probation (6 months). Up to 2 days per week remote.
