The Role As a Children’s Safeguarding Social Worker, you will play a vital role in protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people. You will: Assess, plan and implement effective safeguarding interventions Build positive, strengths-based relationships with children, young people and families Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals and partners Manage complex cases with confidence and professionalism Deliver purposeful, child-centred social work practice Ensure children are safeguarded in line with legal and statutory responsibilities You will be supported by approachable managers and experienced colleagues who are committed to helping you thrive in your career. Location: One Angel Square Interviews will take place in person About You We’re looking for qualified and registered Social Workers who: Have successfully completed their ASYE Are passionate about delivering outstanding outcomes for children and families Can build effective relationships with a diverse range of children, young people and families Have strong analytical and decision-making skills Are confident working within safeguarding services Value teamwork, collaboration and reflective practice Most importantly, you’ll bring compassion, resilience and a genuine commitment to improving children’s lives.
