The Diocese of Exeter has a strong record of supporting Devon's church schools and academies on property matters. This role works closely with the Property Services Team and the Diocesan Board of Education, offering property advice and acting on behalf of school site trustees.
We are seeking someone who values the role of church schools and is committed to maintaining and strengthening this high quality support.
Historically the post was a full time Chartered Surveyor tole that included professional building design and management services. The revised position is part time Full Time Equivalent) and no longer includes fee-earning work making it suitable for candidates with a property or legal background.
We are looking for a motivated, high-calibre individual with relevant experience and a willingness to learn. The current post holder will reduce their hours in February 2026 and will provide training and support over an extended handover period.
