The Role As a Vocational Trainer/Assessor, you’ll guide and teach learners how to produce a high-quality CV, what to include, how to present it followed by teaching them how to tailor their CV specifically to available vacancies, taking in to account the job role and employers requirement; you will share your knowledge and prepare them for work. You will support learners to build confidence to open doors to their future employment, making a tangible difference in their lives and communities. Cohorts are between 8-10 learners each week (four-day course). Your role will be to deliver a high quality competency based course utilising training resources, fully understanding the standards for the course being delivered. You will ensure that all learner records are accurate and maintained in line with policies and procedures, GDPR and contractual requirements. Making sure a full caseload of learners (in line with contract) is maintained at all times with the generating of starts through excellent communication skills and relationship building with learners and prison staff. You will help overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs. Ensure all learners complete timely in line with our clients delivery model and programme specification. Your role will include monitoring learner attendance and progress through regular learner reviews.
